Our Story.

About Nicola.

I’m Nicola - the founder and floral designer behind Foxgloves & Roses.

My work begins with a love of beauty, nature, and the quiet magic flowers carry when they are shaped with intention.

For as long as I can remember, flowers have been part of my life — first gathered from hedgerows on the walk home from school, later painted in sketchbooks, and now woven into the romantic, nature-led designs that define my work today.

I approach floral design the way an artist approaches a canvas: through colour, movement, form, and emotion. Every arrangement is expressively layered, thoughtfully composed, and alive with a sense of atmosphere.

The Studio.

Foxgloves & Roses is based in a peaceful barn on a hill in south Oxfordshire, surrounded by wide skies, quiet fields, and the changing rhythm of the seasons. This landscape shapes my work — its softness, its expansiveness, its natural sense of romance.

From here, I create florals for modern romantic weddings across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds, and beyond, always inspired by the beauty of the natural world and the stories couples entrust me with.

My Philosophy.

Flowers are more than décor.

They set the tone, shape the atmosphere, and create moments of feeling - the softness at the end of an aisle, the welcoming glow of a beautifully styled table, the movement and fragrance that make a space feel truly alive.

My philosophy is simple:

Nature-led. Artistically crafted.
Romantic, refined, and full of life.

Every wedding is designed individually, responding to your vision, the season, the venue, and the emotional mood you want to create. Nothing is copy-and-paste. Every design is an original.

The Experience.

Working with Foxgloves & Roses means you’ll receive:

  • Artistic guidance from someone who sees florals as fine art

  • A thoughtful, personal process that feels warm, calm, and enjoyable

  • Refined, expressive florals crafted with care and exceptional attention to detail

  • A cohesive design vision that elevates your wedding as a whole

  • A trusted professional recommended by leading luxury venues including Blenheim Palace, Ardington House, Stowe House, the Ashmolean Museum, and Caswell House

My role is not simply to arrange flowers — but to help you create a feeling that lingers..

A Note From Me.

Your wedding flowers should feel personal, expressive, and deeply beautiful - a reflection of who you are, brought to life with artistry and care.

It’s always an honour to be part of such meaningful moments.
